MEET THE INVENTOR
Built by someone who needed it.
John Perkins — Founder, Wavy Nails
John Perkins is a music teacher and working musician in New Orleans, leading his own brass band, playing gigs, and using his hands every single day.
The idea for Wavy Nails came from a problem John kept running into: dirt and grime under his fingernails after rehearsal, after a gig, after a long day, with no sink around to fix it. He wanted something small enough to carry everywhere and simple enough to use in seconds.
So he built it himself. John holds a provisional patent on the design and self-funded the entire product, from the first mold to the brush you can hold today.
“I wanted something that could go anywhere I go, in my pocket, on my keys, no excuses.”
